Checkatrade Left Us High and Dry!

We were completely reliant on Checkatrade to find us a reliable contractor for our renovation project. We signed up and listed our project details, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.

  • The scattered quotes we obtained were unrealistic.
  • To make matters even worse, their support team was abysmal.

We are incredibly disappointed with Checkatrade and would urge using their services. There are much better alternatives out there. We regret having wasted our resources on this disappointing service.

We trusted Checkatrade to connect us with competent tradespeople. Little did we know we were walking into a shambles.

After/Upon/Following hiring a plumber/electrician/carpenter from their platform, we ended up with a shoddy/subpar/messy job that cost us a fortune/ dearly/ an arm and a leg. Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade favors their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you believe Checkatrade. Their whole scheme is designed to rip you off. They promise the world but they a load of rubbish. You'll be left screwed and nobody at Checkatrade will give a damn.

It all starts with their sneaky charges, which they hide in the fine print. Then, there's the terrible helpline that's about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to complain, but it's like pulling teeth.

So, steer well clear of Checkatrade if you value your money.

Did Checkatrade Rip Us Off?

We thought we were doing the right thing by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so reliable with their approved traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Then, the communication from the "qualified" trader was here lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and sent us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to resolve the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up payinga huge sum/an exorbitant amount/ way more than it should have been by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's support was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling frustrated and warn everyone against using them for your tradesman needs.

We Paid, But Never Saw the Work: Checkatrade Fail.

My experience with Checkatrade turned into a nightmare. I hired a trader through their website to complete some vital home repairs. They seemed legitimate at first, but it resulted in a horrendous ordeal.

Even though I sent the full amount upfront, the work was never done. Getting a response ceased. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.

Checkatrade has been useless throughout this whole process. They laughed at my plight. It feels like I've been robbed.
